What’s new?
Fin can now look directly at your settlements and settlement errors.
That means you can get instant help when:
A settlement looks missing or delayed
A settlement shows as failed or errored
Your settlement data looks out of date or incomplete
Just open the chat with Fin and ask your question in your own words.
Things you can now ask Fin
Here are some examples you can use or adapt:
1. Check settlement status
“What’s the status of my latest Amazon settlement?”
“Are my Shopify settlements up to date?”
“Did my last Etsy payout process correctly?”
Fin will tell you if settlements are pending, processing, failed, or completed.
2. Understand settlement errors
“Why did my last eBay settlement fail?”
“This settlement shows an error — what does it mean?”
“How do I fix this settlement error?”
Fin will show you the error details and give clear next steps.
3. Refresh settlements
“Please refresh my Amazon settlements.”
“Can you re-poll my Shopify settlements for the last 7 days?”
“Update my Etsy settlements so everything is current.”
Fin will trigger a settlement refresh in the background and tell you what to expect.
4. Run a full data fetch & processing
“Run a full data fetch and process for my Amazon account.”
“Reprocess all my Etsy data.”
“Do a full refresh for my eBay settlements.”
This is helpful if you’ve just connected a platform, changed settings, or things look very out of sync.
Platforms this works for
Fin’s new settlement features work across all major platforms supported by Link My Books, including:
Amazon
Shopify
Etsy
eBay
…and more, as we add them
If you’re unsure, just ask:
“Can you check settlements for my [platform name] account?”
Why this helps
With these updates, you get:
Faster answers to the most common settlement questions
24/7 availability, no need to wait for a support agent
Fewer escalations — Fin can now handle many checks and fixes on its own
You can still contact our support team whenever you need to, but for most settlement-related questions, Fin is now the quickest way to a solution.
