This article will cover three things:

  1. How to request more settlement history
  2. How to deal with missing settlements
  3. If you have no settlements at all in your Link My Books account

How to request more settlement history

During your free trial Link My Books pulls your latest 90 days worth of settlements from Amazon.

To get more settlement history you need to be subscribed to a plan, then follow the instructions below:

Go into your seller central account and navigate to:

Reports > Payments > All Statements

On that page should be a list of all of your past settlements from Amazon.

Under the Action column you will see some buttons to view and download the settlements.

The older settlements will have "Request Report" beside them, as shown below:

Click "Request Report" and then wait 1 day after which they should appear in your Link My Books Dashboard.

If you are subscribed to a plan and you have completed the above action and after 1 day your settlements are still not showing in Link My Books then please contact support.

How to deal with missing settlements

If you have some settlements that are missing, for example you have a full 60 days worth of settlements in your account but some settlements from within the 60 days are simply missing then this again can point to them needing to be requested.

Follow the same process as above - find the missing settlements in seller central and click Request Report on them.

After a day they should appear inside your Link My Books account.

If you have no settlements at all in your Link My Books account

This is generally caused because you seller account is still on the old version of settlement files.

We use the Flat File V2 format and if your account is still on the old Flat File version then we can't import your settlements.

This can be resolved though - just follow these steps:

Go to your seller central account and navigate to:

Reports > Payments > All Statements

On that page should be a list of all of your past settlements from Amazon.

Under the Action column you will see some buttons to view and download the settlements.

What you are looking for is that you have the "Flat File V2" available, as shown here:

If you don't have the "Download Flat File V2" available then please send a seller support email to Amazon that specifically requests: "Please enable the new V2 flat file format settlement reports for my seller account".

You may need to raise the case several times, or escalate the case to ensure a suitably qualified support rep from Amazon responds and actions the change.

Sometimes if you only sell through MFN and not FBA you will need to create one FBA item listing in order for them to activate the V2 reporting.

If you do have the V2 format available then please reach out to us and we can troubleshoot further.
