How to manage your email notifications

Choose what account events will trigger an email notification

You can customise which events trigger email notifications from Link My Books by adjusting your preferences on the Notifications settings page.

How to Access the Notifications Page

To manage your email notification settings:

  1. Go to Settings in the main menu

  2. Select Notifications from the dropdown

The settings are categorized into three sections:  1.  **Account Related**:     * A checkbox labeled "When a new settlement is imported" is checked.     * A checkbox labeled "When a settlement is sent to Xero" is checked.     * A checkbox labeled "When a settlement contains an error" is checked.  2.  **Analytics**:     * A checkbox labeled "I want to receive monthly summary emails" is checked. Below it, a description reads: "Receive a monthly email summarizing your business performance".  3.  **Marketing**:     * A checkbox labeled "I want to receive marketing emails (Optional)" is unchecked. Below it, a description reads: "Receive newsletters, product updates and exclusive offers from Link My Books".  At the bottom of the visible page, there is a prominent blue button labeled "SAVE MY PREFERENCES".  In the bottom right corner of the screen, faint icons for a chat bubble and an envelope are visible, likely for support or contact.

Notification Preferences

On the Notifications page, you can choose to enable or disable different types of emails:


Account Related

  • When a new settlement is imported

  • When a settlement is sent to Xero

  • When a settlement contains an error - ⚠️ We recommend leaving this turned on so you're notified if a settlement requires your attention.


Analytics

  • I want to receive monthly summary emails - Receive a monthly email summarising your business performance.


Marketing

  • I want to receive marketing emails (Optional) - Get newsletters, product updates, and exclusive offers from Link My Books.


Update your preferences any time to stay in control of the notifications you receive.
