Xero Cashbook and Ledger are used for clients who don't need invoicing. The following information is direct from Xero regarding these products:

"Xero Non-VAT/GST Cashbook is for clients who don’t need invoicing or VAT/GST reporting. Get daily bank feeds of client bank transactions in addition to all the features of Xero Ledger. You can let clients code their transactions and view their data and reports."

'Xero VAT/GST Cashbook is for clients who don’t need invoicing but do need VAT/GST reporting. Get daily bank feeds of client bank transactions and generate VAT/GST returns in addition to all the features of Xero Ledger. You can let clients code their transactions and view their data and reports.‌'

As these packages don't incorporate invoicing, these cannot be used with Link My Books as we send over your settlement invoice for each payout as a sales invoice. As this is not supported within Xero Cashbook, you'd need to switch to Xero Standard (not Starter either) in order for this to work.

If you already have Cashbook set up and have connected that to Link My Books, then you'll need to change to Xero Standard or set up a new Xero account on Xero Standard and then contact [email protected] so we can help you get your Link My Books account connected to your Xero Standard account.
