Link My Books automatically adds new SKUs (Stock Keeping Units) to your product list whenever they are detected in any report we download from your connected sales channels.

This guide explains how to hide SKUs that are not actively appearing in your payout settlement reports, helping to keep your product list tidy and relevant.

Understanding "Inactive" SKUs

Sometimes, Link My Books may import SKUs from various sales channel reports (e.g., inventory reports, listing reports) that don't directly show up in your settlement payouts. These might be:

  • Old or discontinued products.

  • Products listed but never sold.

  • Products from reports not directly tied to financial settlements.

The "Hide Inactive SKUs" feature focuses specifically on hiding products that haven't appeared in your payout settlement reports.

How to Hide Inactive SKUs

Follow these simple steps to hide SKUs that are not found in your payout settlement reports:

  1. Navigate to Inventory Settings:

In Link My Books, go to Inventory. You can perform this action from either the Product Costs or Product Groups section.

  2. Click 'Hide Inactive SKUs':

On the respective page, locate and click the 'Hide Inactive SKUs' button.

Once clicked, any SKUs that are not present in your recent payout settlement reports will be hidden from your product list view.

How to Show All SKUs Again

If you change your mind and wish to see all SKUs that Link My Books has ever detected in any report (including those not found in payout settlements), you can easily revert this setting:

  1. Navigate to Inventory Settings:

Go to Inventory > Product Costs or Product Groups.

  2. Click 'Show All SKUs': Click the 'Show All SKUs' button.

This will re-include all SKUs found in any reports back into your main product list.
