Not Receiving Notification Emails?
If you have notifications enabled but aren't receiving emails, try the following steps:
Check your spam or junk folder. Link My Books notification emails can sometimes be caught by spam filters. If you find our emails there, mark them as "not spam" to ensure future emails arrive in your inbox.
Verify your email address. Make sure the email address on your Link My Books account is correct and up to date. You can check this in Settings. If you recently changed your email address, notifications will be sent to the new address.
Check that the specific notification type is toggled on. Return to the Notifications page and confirm the relevant checkbox is ticked. Sometimes browser issues can cause a toggle to appear enabled without the change being saved โ try toggling the setting off and on again, then click Save Preferences.
Check if you are an additional user. Some notification types are only sent to the account owner. If you are an additional user (e.g. a bookkeeper or team member), you may not receive all notification types. Ask the account owner to check their inbox.
Check your email provider's filtering rules. Some email providers or corporate email systems have strict filtering rules that may block automated emails. Try adding [email protected] and [email protected] to your contacts or safe sender list.
If you've tried all of the above and are still not receiving notifications, please contact the support team. Let us know which notification type you're missing (e.g. settlement imported, settlement error) and the email address on your account, and we'll investigate further.
If you have any questions about this article or feedback on how we could make it better please reach out to the support team via the blue chat icon on the bottom right of the page or via email to [email protected].
