Shopify settlement processing in Link My Books is now significantly faster.
Thanks to improvements in how we fetch and process Shopify data, settlements can now be processed up to 5x faster than before. This is especially helpful for busy stores with a high volume of orders.
You don’t need to change anything in your setup — the speed boost is automatic.
How it works
Behind the scenes, Link My Books pulls your Shopify data in “bulk operations” from Shopify’s API. We’ve improved how this works:
Previously:
Shopify data was fetched using one bulk operation at a time
This meant larger stores sometimes had longer waits for settlements to fully process
Now:
Link My Books can run up to 5 bulk operations in parallel
This takes advantage of improvements in the Shopify API (version 2026-01), which supports parallel
bulk_actionqueriesMore data can be fetched and processed at the same time, reducing overall wait times
All of this happens automatically in the background whenever Link My Books processes your Shopify settlements.
What you’ll notice as a customer
These changes translate into practical benefits for your day‑to‑day workflow:
Faster settlement processing
Settlements will move from “processing” to “ready” much more quickly.
Biggest gains for large stores
If you have many orders per payout, you’ll see the most noticeable improvement.
Settlements appear on your dashboard sooner
After Shopify issues a payout, the related settlements will show up in Link My Books earlier than before, so you can review and post them sooner.
No setup or action required
There’s nothing you need to enable or configure.
The performance upgrade is already live and applied automatically to all Shopify connections.
