Data sent to Xero and QuickBooks

πŸ“Œ Settlement notifications are not subscription charges. When Link My Books sends a settlement to Xero or QuickBooks, you may receive an email notification showing an amount (e.g. "Β£480.00"). This is not a charge to you β€” it is a summary of your sales data being posted to your accounting software. Your Link My Books subscription fee is a separate, fixed monthly charge which you can view under Settings > Billing.

When you set up your Link My Books account if you choose to use our default accounts identified in the wizard, then we will add these to your existing Chart of Accounts.

If you enable Tracking Codes (Xero only) and choose to use our default codes then we will also add these to your Xero account.

If you are missing a currency from your list of currencies, when you click "Add missing currency" in Link My Books we will add this currency to your list of currencies in Xero. (You will need to manually add the currency in QuickBooks accounts)

When you are ready to send your Amazon settlement data to Xero or QuickBooks we will send it securely via their API.

Xero

Each settlement will appear in Xero as its own Invoice broken down and posted to the Accounts, and with the tax rates that you decided upon. We attach the settlement audit report to the invoice in Xero for future reference should you need it.

QuickBooks

Each settlement will appear in QuickBooks as its own Sales Journal broken down and posted to the Accounts, with the tax rates that you decided upon. We link the settlement audit report to the journal entry in QuickBooks for future reference should you need it.
