What data do you import from Amazon?

When you connect Link My Books to Amazon, we import the following reports:

  • Settlement Reports

  • VAT Transaction Reports (EU accounts only)

  • Order List Reports

  • Product SKU and Title Information

  • Month End Inventory Reports

We only store the information we need to accurately account for your sales and fees, meaning no customer data other than country of arrival is kept in our database.

We use Google Cloud and Cloudflare to ensure that the data we store is kept safe. Read more in our Data Retention Policy.

Once we have processed the reports they will show in your Link My Books Amazon Settlements, where you can then review them and send them to Xero/Quickbooks.

⚠️ Selling on other channels like eBay, TikTok Shop etc. but fulfilling orders through Amazon (FBA)?

Link My Books imports data from the sales channel where the order originated, not from the fulfilment provider. If your TikTok Shop orders are fulfilled by Amazon (Multi-Channel Fulfilment / MCF), the sales data comes from TikTok Shop, not Amazon. The Amazon settlement will only show the fulfilment fees charged by Amazon for those orders — it will not include the sales revenue.

To capture both sides correctly, you should connect both your TikTok Shop and Amazon accounts to Link My Books:

  • TikTok Shop connection — captures the sales revenue, refunds, and TikTok fees

  • Amazon connection — captures the MCF fulfilment fees charged by Amazon for fulfilling those TikTok orders

This ensures your books reflect both the income (from TikTok) and the fulfilment cost (from Amazon) without double-counting sales.
