Accounting software subscription ended error on Link My Books

Written by Ruth Buan
Updated this week

What this error means

When the error "Subscription Period Has Ended" appear, this means that Link My Books tries to send a settlement, but the subscription for your accounting software (Xero or QuickBooks) is no longer active.

When the subscription has expired, the accounting platform prevents new transactions from being created.

Why this happens

Common reasons include:

  • The Xero or QuickBooks subscription has expired

  • Billing for the accounting software has not been renewed

  • The organisation was temporarily suspended due to billing issues

Because the account is inactive, Link My Books cannot send settlements.

How to resolve it

To continue sending settlements:

  1. Log in to your Xero or QuickBooks account

  2. Check your subscription or billing status

  3. Renew or reactivate the subscription if necessary

Once the subscription is active again, return to Link My Books and send the settlement again.

When to contact Link My Books support
