Why Are My Settlements Showing the Wrong Tax Rates?

If you wish to change the tax rates that are on your settlements, then you can do this at any time by going to Accounts & Taxes > Account & Taxes Wizard. (Please make any changes to tax rates via the Wizard rather than the Account & Tax Mappings page.)

Any changes to your accounts and tax rates will apply automatically to any settlement on your dashboard that has not yet been sent to Xero/QuickBooks.

For settlements that have already been sent to Xero/QuickBooks, we suggest making the changes first and then rolling back each settlement. The Rollback option will remove this completely from Xero/QuickBooks and refresh the settlement;

A screenshot of the "LINK MY BOOKS" application dashboard, displaying a list of marketplace settlements for "lmbshop." Each settlement entry shows: Marketplace: "lmbshop" with its logo. Amount: The settlement amount (e.g., AU $303.31, AU $491.75, AU $253.88). Date: The date range of the settlement (e.g., July 13 - July 19, 2025; July 6 - July 12, 2025; June 29 - June 30, 2025). Status: The current status of the settlement (e.g., "Sent on July 27, 2025" for the first entry, and "Ready to send" for the others). For the third entry, there's also a "Why split?" link next to the date. An "ACTION" dropdown button is present on the right side of each settlement. For the top settlement (AU $303.31), the "ACTION" dropdown is open, revealing the options: View Refresh Hide Rollback A mouse cursor (hand icon) is hovering over the "Rollback" option. The top navigation bar of the application shows links to "Settlements," "Analytics," "Accounts & Taxes," "Inventory," and "Settings," along with the current account "LMB Shop (Demo AU)."

Once refreshed you can re-send the invoice to Xero/QuickBooks so that the correct tax rates are applied.

For any rollback issues, please refer to the Why isn't the rollback option working - QuickBooks? help article.

IMPORTANT

Please ensure that the settlement already sent is deleted from Xero/QuickBooks before re-sending from Link My Books, to avoid duplication.
